Requirements

undergrad degree - ideally

some equine experience (non-specific) - ideally

willing to be trained 

Hours: 32-40/wk

Emergency on-call shifts, overnight nursing, and weekends are required on an as needed basis and are shared equally among the team.

Successful applicant is team oriented, able to manage time and assist with the triage of appointments, have excellent communication skills, and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities Include: 

  • intake for referral cases
  • daily nursing and medical treatments for inpatients
  • assisting doctors with outpatient and emergency cases
  • performing diagnostic lab work
  • maintaining hospital functions
  • management of inventory for ambulatory appointments
  • assisting with examination and treatment of patients (including set-up, operation, and maintenance of diagnostic equipment)

Salary/Wage: $17 to $25 per hour, depending on qualifications
