Veterinary Assistant
McKayla was born and raised locally in this valley. Her interest in horses started from helping her grandpa complete chores around the ranch. She started becoming more interested in the large animal field during summers when she would help local ranches with anything from branding to daily tasks.
McKayla has recently obtained her bachelor’s in animal science, from West Texas A&M in May associated with each. After graduation she moved back home to start working with horses and cattle.
She joined the Roaring Fork Equine Medical Center team November 2023, to continue her knowledge and to learn new skills. In her free time she enjoys working on her home ranch, and hanging out with her dogs and family, occasionally fitting in a soccer game or two.
