About Us
Roaring Fork Equine Medical Center located just south of Glenwood Springs, CO seeks committed and passionate individuals to join our dynamic team of dedicated and caring veterinary medical professionals. We are an equine specific referral facility providing 24-hour emergency, critical care, and surgical services, as well as ambulatory medicine for our local clients. We are a three doctor practice, with two board-certified surgeons, who focus on sports medicine and rehabilitation. Our practice engages the latest technologies including digital radiography, inhalant anesthesia, stem cell, PRP and IRAP, digital ultrasonography, one-meter and three-meter video endoscopy, with a full diagnostic laboratory.

Glenwood Springs, CO isn’t just where we live, it is a lifestyle. Located at the junction of the Colorado and Roaring Fork Rivers, this incredible city was created with excitement and a love for the outdoors, and has remained that way throughout its history.
We are located along Highway 82 which stretches from Glenwood Springs to Aspen and includes multiple towns along the way boasting their own fun such as Glenwood Springs, Carbondale, Basalt, and Aspen.
If you ask us about indoor activities, we might only know to give you our incredible list of restaurants, because otherwise, all of our fun takes place in the great outdoors. Our area offers activities such as skiing, snowboarding (at one of Colorado’s best ski areas - Aspen Snowmass), snowshoeing, snowmobile tours, rafting, hiking, camping, backpacking in the Rocky Mountains, and kayaking along our two rivers, Roaring Fork River and Colorado River. Plus, did we mention that we have the world’s largest hot spring pool.
